VIP Electrical to assist SA Water’s continued improvement process - December 16, 2009
Our Automation Division has seen recent success, with the awarding of the Turbidity Meter installation contract by SA Water, for their DAFF (Dissolved Air Flotation Filtration) plant at the Bolivar waste water treatment site.
Partnering with Power Pumps who will complete the stainless steel pipe work and associated mechanical installation, the project is a two stage process with the second stage to commence at a minimum 6 months after the successful installation and testing of stage 1.
VIP’s primary role will be the design and preparation of electrical schematics and installation of power and control wiring, all to SA Water’s exacting standards. Also, VIP will deliver CITECT and PLC programming which will provide usable data from the twenty four Turbidity meters allowing SA Water to improve their processes and efficiency in delivering high quality reclaimed waste water for use in irrigation.
