West Lakes Stage 10 Lighting Upgrade. - December 18, 2009
With this project nearing completion, VIP Electrical would like to thank all the personnel involved for their diligent efforts and are pleased to report there were no lost time injuries and the project was delivered on time and within budget.
This project involved upgrading eleven residential streets lighting in West Lakes to current standards. New electrical cabling, and light fittings were installed to each lighting pole being either existing or new, this involved our civil contractor undertaking under road boring to enable conduits and cabling to be installed to minimise environmental impact, residents safety and visual effect during the upgrade.
The challenge during this project was to keep as much lighting as possible operational during the refurbishment for residential safety concerns and also keeping in mind safety concerns of site personnel, this was achieved by planning with ETSA for the isolation and reinstatement of power supplies to the light poles.
VIP Electrical would like to thank The City of Charles Sturt for engaging our services for the above project.
